Construction Waterproofing Group The Construction Waterproofing Group produces a variety of Volclay Waterproofing products. The product line includes VOLSEAL®, VOLTEX®, WATERSTOP RX®, VOLCLAY PANELS® and SWELLTITE®. Volclay Waterproofing products are essentially ‘self sealing’ with the ability to seal minor cracks in concrete, and do not require the installation/workmanship rigours associated with traditional ‘peel & stick’ membranes, which can so often lead to failure. The Voltex membrane, an award-winning combination of the superior properties of bentonite coupled with the flexibility of polypropylene geotextiles, is rugged in construction and highly resistant to site damage. Voltex is unique in offering ‘automatic’ mechanical bonding to concrete, the elimination of water tracking, all-weather installation, and application to all types of rough and uneven property line surfaces, including diaphragm walls, contiguous and secant piling and steel sheet piling. Owing to its ease and speed of installation, Voltex offers significant savings when compared to traditional waterproofing systems. Volclay Waterproofing materials offer the additional advantage of being the most environmentally friendly products available, with millions of square metres having been successfully installed worldwide over the past 35 years. CETCO markets geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) products under the BENTOMAT® and SEALTEX® trade names for lining and capping landfills, encapsulation of contaminated land, lining of ponds, lagoons and canals, and secondary containment purposes. GCLs are a natural extension of CETCO's core capabilities. CETCO is firmly committed to the development and advancement of technologies that integrate bentonite and geosynthetics. This commitment to innovation is the foundation for CETCO's GCL product line. Bentomat and SealTex GCLs are high performance environmental liners comprised of geosynthetic carrier components bonded to a layer of low-permeability sodium bentonite. CETCO GCLs provide hydraulic performance equivalent to one metre of compacted clay, with a total thickness of less than 10mm. CETCO GCLs are self sealing if punctured and are manufactured in large rolls that require just a simple overlapped seam. Fast and easy to install, as well as being highly cost effective, CETCO GCLs provide a superior choice for both designers and contractors. |

CETCO's drilling products are used in tunneling and geotechnical drilling applications, horizontal directional drilling and mineral exploration. The products are used to install monitoring wells and water wells, rehabilitate existing water wells and seal abandoned exploration drill holes. BENTOGROUT® is among the trade names for products used in these applications. Horizontal and directional drilling applications utilizing HYRAUL-EZ® and various polymers represent a new market area for CETCO drilling products. |
